  Monitor with Books

The tutorials below have been created in Macromedia Breeze. Breeze is a tool that allows you to turn your PowerPoint presentations into interactive movies. To use Breeze, click on the tutorial of your choice. When the tutorial opens, you will see the presentation slides on your left and a menu with four tabs on your right. Directly under the presentation menu is a control bar.

Turning the audio on and off:
  1. In order to turn the audio on, click the play button (a right-facing triangle).
  2. To pause or turn the audio off, click on the pause button (two vertical lines).
Navigating in the presentation:
  1. To navigate in the tutorial, click on the buttons within the presentation slides.
  2. To view only the presentation slides and not the tabs on the right, click on the last button in the control bar (a box with another box directly below and to the right of it).
Tabs (on the right side of the screen):
  1. Outline — This lets your click through all the slides. We DO NOT recommend doing this, as the slides are out of order. Rather, click on the buttons within the presentation slides.
  2. Thumb — contains pictures of all of the slides.
  3. Notes — contains all of the notes on the slides, if any.
  4. Search — allows you to search the presentation for specific words. This is a good tool to use.
