A course syllabus is most often the backbone
of a college course. It is here that students refer to for
information about the course, assignments, texts and contacting
the instructor
However, for students who have a difficult time processing multiple pages of written text, much of the written material is often overlooked. By incorporating Universal Course Design (UCD) strategies into a college syllabus, students will have greater access to the information it is meant to provide.
